It's Been Awhile...

It has been FOR-EV-ER since my last blog post.  Life has been SO busy!  I won't go into too much detail with everything though!  I took and finished my spring semester classes through ECU (I am working on my licensure in special education) and I got straight A's with a 4.0 for the semester.  WOO-HOO!  This is the first time this has EVER happened in my life.  It is crazy what happens when you "grow up" and really get your priorities straight!  

Besides that our pregnancy is going AMAZING!!!  When I was around 10 weeks a lot of the not-so-enoyable symptoms went away.  The following five weeks or so continued to be kind of uneventful.  I didn't "feel" pregnant and I pretty much felt normal.  Our 16 week appointment went great!  The baby was dancing around, as usual!  It was a relief to see since I hadn't been feeling much of anything...besides uncertainty!!

During this pregnancy I have developed a few favorite meals.  For breakfast I LOVE whole grain waffles with all natural peanut butter and syrup and at least two glasses on milk.  Don't knock it until you try it!  Really!  It's amazing!  One thing that has happened during this pregnancy that has been awesome was being introduced to fried soft shell crabs.  WOW!!!!!!!!  THEY ARE AMAZING!!!  Those little creatures are my all time #1 pregnancy craving.  Besides breakfast I could eat them for every meal! (Who would want crabs for breakfast..blah...especially when you can have peanut butter waffles).  Another thing I adore is homemade chocolate banana bread.  I found the recipe HERE! FINALLY!!!!! I am a little over 19 weeks along.  I have absolutely, positively felt our angel squirming around in my stomach.  Almost every night now!!  It is the best feeling!!!  Some nights I find myself just sitting and smiling.  What is even more exciting we found out what we are having.  The wait has been driving me CRAZY!!!!  I'm so impatient and I know it.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from our Water Gun Gender Reveal (thanks to our cousin Jodi who helped us pull the whole thing off)!!
