Four Months...

The last four months have flown by.  Every day I am so amazed at our little blessing, Beckett.  He is so amazing.  We are currently in the thick of a growth spurt and sleep regression, but it is ok.  I keep telling myself that these things are to be expected.  Here are some highlights of our son:

  • He is a breast milk only baby.  I am so proud of this.  I never thought I would enjoy breastfeeding the way I do.  We have made it to four months and my next goal is six months with hopes of making it to one year.  What an incredibly rewarding and amazing experience!  To know that each and every roll and skin fold on his little body is all thanks to me is so amazing.
  • His favorite toy is him Jumperoo.  The best money I've ever spent.  Beckett LOVES LOVES LOVES to bounce.  Even if he is in his Jumperoo crying, he will still be bouncing.
  • Beckett loves to laugh.  He has been laughing and smiling since he was around 8 weeks old.  Now he thinks everything is funny though.  He also smiles all the time.  He has certainly been blessed with Chad's personality.
  • Beckett loves looking in the mirror.  He thinks it is hilarious, so we look in the mirror every chance we can!
  • We have the ability to roll from belly to back.  It has been done a few times but he isn't consistent with it yet!
  • Beckett is so so so very close to rolling from back to belly.
  • We have sampled baby oatmeal and Beckett seems to enjoy it and once again finds it hilarious when mom goes "nom nom nom" while he is eating (it's the simple things, right!?)
  • His fists are his FAVORITE! You will almost always find him with his hand in his mouth!
  • He is losing most of his hair he was born with and the new hair coming in is...BLONDE!
  • Today we had Beckett's four month doctor appointment.  Besides the whole immunization thing it went wonderful (but even those weren't too bad)!  He weighed in at 16.8lbs putting him in the 75th-90th%, for height he measured 27 inches putting him in the 99th% and for his head circumference he was in the 50th%.
Here are some pictures to highlight the last few months:

Knackered after his doctors appointment!
