My Day...

So this is how my day started...

• 5:30AM- dog starts crying.. I nudge husband.  He asks if I want him to take her out (the nudge wasn't hint enough lol).  I had to get up in 30 minutes and YES those 30 minutes were absolutely critical.  

I proceed to wake up before the alarm clock goes off (which just stinks) and tell my husband to go ahead and go get in the guest bed so he can sleep and not listen to the dog cry while I shower.  So I get my shower, let the dog, out feed her, attempt to pick out an outfit while at the same time fending off the pup from eating everything on the closet floor, and then make a lame attempt at doing my hair.  A serving of instant Grits, and I'm off to work.  Work wasn't bad at all.  I really enjoy my job.  I am just sooooooooo tired x100.  Overall the day went well.  I did some mindless blog reading (Baby Side Burns, you rock!) and then went to mindlessly stare into my freezer and fridge deciding what to eat.  PIZZA HUT it is!  I usually am up for cooking, but not tonight...tonight is one of those BLAH nights where I want to lounge in my husbands clothes and do nothing. Yes, I have been doing exactly that ever since I got home.  So when I had to go pick up my pizza (because our local Pizza Hut does not deliver..LAME) I was faced with a conundrum... Do I dare enter society dressed like a homeless person with well done hair?? YOU BET! I did talk myself to putting on a bra which was a challenge, slipped on my Uggs and went and got my pizza.  Luckily it was ready upon arrival and there was maybe one couple in the place so my exposure was limited.  As I was leaving this fine establishment I discovered something.  A DRIVE THROUGH!  You better believe I'll be taking that route next time!  Oh!  And I just remembered something that happened earlier...

While at school today I was the only adult in the hall and witness to shenanigans of a few middle school boys... I said "guys, chill out".  I wasn't rude.. I would actually say I was quite nice about it.. and do you know what they did!?  They proceeded to mock me!!  I mean..wow!  Have I reached the age where it is now acceptable to be mocked by middle schoolers?!  I guess so..OR is it not "cool" to use the word "chill" anymore in that context.  I am really quite baffled by the whole situation.  Even more amazing is the fact that that whole 20 seconds has now consumed at least 15 minutes of my thoughts... I'm thinking I may have reached some sort of milestone in my age....I'm not sure what to call it though, and I refuse to dwell on it!
