Fatty McFatterson (and her crafts)
I was browsing the internet the other week and came across a sandwich/hamburger... A delicious looking meal called a Patty Melt. Now I'm not one to generally obsess over food, but the image of this Patty Melt would NOT leave my mind. So tonight I decided to make my own. I have been trying to eat healthy, but this was not going to happen with the Patty Melt...NO WAY. Tonight is my night to indulge (if only there were some Snickers ice cream bars in the freezer! Oh well!) This sandwich is basically just an deluxe, upgraded, AWESOME grilled cheese. Really, all I did was cook the hamburger in a frying pan and then stuck it in the middle of an uncooked grilled cheese, then cooked the grilled cheese. Here are some pics of my creation:

I KNOW! I've been doing it wrong all these years!!!! All those grilled cheese sandwiches seem worthless compared to this! Oh man! It was delicious. I couldn't even finish it all! I know my arteries and stomach are hating me right now but wow! It was pretty dang good. One of those every 3-4 months and I'll be a happy woman!
ON ANOTHER NOTE! I completed another little DIY project with the help of my husband, who I discovered really likes to paint? We made the wooden Modge Podge picture plaques. All I had to do was order some wooden plaques from Hobby Lobby for under $2 each, or I'm sure they could be found at our local craft store (if we had one). Then I got some cheap acrylic paint in colors of my choosing. With the help of my expert painter husband we painted the plaques, allowed for them to dry, then Modge Podged on 5x7 pictures that I printed at CVS. The plaques I bought were 10x12. So I put maybe 3-4 layers of Modge Podge on and allowed for it to dry. My husband the nailed picture hanging things on the back and we hung them in our kitchen. I like them a lot!
WAA-LAA!
