Well I must first apologize for never doing a 10 month post for Beckett. We moved to South Carolina on August 10th and in the business of moving I just never did it. We have been rather busy down here! Moving is no joke! Beckett is doing amazing. He eats everything and he literally demands he get to eat what we are eating. If he looks at his food and then looks at our food and they are two different things he will throw his hands up and holler at us. He has exploded developmentally. It is INCREDIBLE how much he comprehends. He loves to share everything from his food, to his toys, and to his pacifier.
Chad and I have both been surprised by his language development. Around nine months he was saying "dog". Now he says, and comprehends:
-dog
-cat
-duck
-truck
-ball
-what's that
-see it
-heeyyyy daaaad
-mama
We are certainly impressed by him! He is so sweet and loving. He loves to wave to pretty much anyone but we have noticed he is especially keen on waving to ladies (such a flirt!).
Army crawling is a thing of the past for him. It only took about three days of no more hardwood floors for him to make the transition. He pulls up on everything and just the other day he figured out how to open the dog crate. Beckett has also learned how to throw a ball! It doesn't go very far, but Chad is working on that with him! haha!
He still has two teeth and currently has two more breaking through.
He LOVES balloons and books. We will often find him entertaining himself amidst his toys flipping through his books. It is also becoming increasingly difficult to get a picture of him sitting still. He wants to climb and crawl all over everything.
Trying to climb the headboard!
Clearly giving someone the stink eye!!
Getting to spend lots of time with daddy!
Pool & sunscreen hair!
Waiting to see the dr.... he had another ear infection!
Trying to free the dog!
This is not a great picture of me but you can see how LONG Beckett is!
LOOOVES the park!
Tough to get a picture when he is constantly moving!
Even though we have been SO busy Chad and I were able to take a date night!
We are enjoying ourselves here. It has been a huge change with many adjustments. I would be lying if I said it has been 100% easy, because it hasn't. Moving is stressful and frustrating!
If you know me, you know I thoroughly enjoy shopping... especially grocery shopping. We have a grocery store down here called Publix...AND IT IS AWESOME!!!! First off they give your child a free balloon! They also have the most delicious blueberry muffins you've ever tasted... EVER. Lastly, they take your groceries to your car with you. This is particularly wonderful so you can put your child in the car and not have to worry about returning the cart. I usually tell them I don't need the extra provided service but then they insist sooo I just let them now.
Other than that things are going well! I will try to post more in the near future!
