Weekend Fun!

Since moving we haven't really made time to do any "family activities".  That all changed this weekend.  I decided I wanted to play tourist and go explore something new.  Since the Redskins played this past Thursday, and ECU wasn't playing this weekend, and The Race was Sunday afternoon Chaf agreed we could go explore.  YAY!  We decided we would go to see The Angel Oak on Johns Island.  If you aren't familiar with this HUGE tree it is estimated to be at least 400 years old (find out more here).  It was so beautiful and Beckett LOVES trees.  Any time (literally any time) he sees a tree he reaches out his hand and says "whats that" or "see it".  We always let him touch the trees, so as you can imagine he really enjoyed himself on our outing.  Enjoy some of the pictures from our trip:

 LOVED the tree
 Lovin' on his mama

Hard to get a picture when he is constantly moving!
 ...must..touch..tree
 Exploring with daddy!

Family pic!

Recently Beckett has started to balance himself really well.  It came out of nowhere too.  Just this morning he stood up in the bed between Chad and I and started "dancing".  We were both dumbfounded at where this newly discovered balance has come from!

...Just standing here.. drankin' my milk!
