ONE.WHOLE.YEAR!!!

CONGRATS!! EVERYONE who said "cherish every moment, it goes way too fast" you were absolutely 100% correct.  Never did we imagine just how fast this last year would fly by.  Although, we have never been more sleep deprived in our lives...we have never been happier.  As parents we have witnessed so many incredible changes.  Beckett growing, our relationship with each other growing, and most importantly our relationship with God growing.  We have never felt more blessed.  Beckett brings us so much joy and makes us cherish every.single.moment.  Day in and day out we are mesmerized by this (not so) little miracle.  It seems like he is spitting out a new word every other day.  His comprehension is astounding.  He is amazing and we love him so very much!  It is almost unbelievable how much he has changed in just a year.

In the last month alone Beckett has cut four of his top teeth (insert sleep deprivation).  He has added to his vocabulary with:
-Look!
-Done!
(he usually isn't really done eating when he says this)
-calls me (mama) by name...on purpose
-MOOOO (thats what the cow says)
-Baby (but says it "babybay")

He is cruising along any and all furniture with ease.  He can stand on his own and also stand and "dance" on his own.  He is attempting to take steps but you can tell he isn't 100% confident in himself yet.

He (knock on wood) seems to be overcoming his separation anxiety which is wonderful since dropping him off at daycare was becoming a dreadful experience every morning.  He is still the happiest baby we know, and it seems that most others (including strangers) share our opinions.  Everywhere we go he is smiling and waving to nearly everyone.  We have noticed he especially loves waving to other children.  9.5 times out of 10 if Beckett spots another child he will start waving.

We were able to celebrate his first birthday with a small party.  A few friends and close family members attended.  He had such an awesome time!

Beckett had his 12 month appointment yesterday.  He weighed 22lbs (63%) and was 31 inches long (89%).  He was a pro at getting his shots and his blood taken!
